Medical specialists are invited to sign up to One World Doctors and review cases in their field of expertise. For example, a difficult to interpret laboratory result may be uploaded by medical staff in an epidemic region. The global network of accredited doctors and specialists can access the lab data and provide crowdsourced advice to the staff on the ground – improving the medical care infrastructure in the underserved region.
One World Doctors is all about safe transmission of case data and laboratory results (such as ELISA, qRT-PCR, blood tests). The platform also allows for the collection of metadata from patient samples, which will facilitate prevention of the spread of diseases and pandemics.
